Interface:  4/5
Like all other wah pedals, its basic controls are the back and forth positions of the foot pedal, but this machine adds a few other things. Dunlop have added a volume knob to give you more dynamic control as well as a Q knob to change the sweep, or range, of the wah. Our favorite change they have made, is the switchless, spring loaded pedal. This pedal is always on, with the foot pedal spring loaded so that it always bounces to the heel position. Not only does the lack of having to click the toe switch make its use easier, but some find that the spring loaded wah pedals give them more comfortable control with some physical resistance and a little more comfort.

Versatility: 2.5/5
Where the basic wah pedal can only be used with its one sweep of sounds, this pedal is slightly more capable of finding a wide range. The Q knob really does add a lot of sonic options.

Clarity of Effect: 5/5
The 105Q’s sound is brilliant, clear, and true to tone. The EQing inside the pedal seems to help in avoiding feedback issues when using it with a microphone, and the Q knob allows the user to find the sweet spot where their tone will be the most well represented. This pedal simply sounds great.

Live application: 4.5/5
Not only does this pedal look sexy and will have all of the girls/boys coming up to you after the show to compliment your gear, but sonically, this is a wonderful live pedal. The volume and Q knobs give you much more control, and the spring loaded switchless design seems to be quite a major benefit.

Customized circuit for the bass guitar, a 100kOhm Hot Potz potentiometer, sturdy die-cast body, and a Q dial that lets you alter the wah parameters. Powered by the Dunlop ECB03 AC adapter and/or 9V battery, not included.
