Keeley Phase 24

Keeley Phase 24

$0.00

Keeley hoped to make a solid and simple phaser with this pedal. While they did succeed, there are some unavoidable limitations. The clarity of effects being its biggest problem, the Phase 24 is well suited for subtle phase and not much else. If you are the type of player that likes to play with their sound under a microscope and really find some subtle ways to inflect rather than change your sound, this pedal can provide you with some nice options.

Complexity: Simple

Interface:  4/5
Incredibly simple pedal. It can function as a two or four stage phase with a simple flick of a switch. Although the knobs are labeled with graphics and not words, they are pretty clearly understood.

Versatility: 2.5/5
With only two types of phasers, this pedal is not overly varied. The ability to change the intensity of the phase and not just the speed is a plus.

Clarity of Effect: 2.5/5
The phaser is audible, but not very pronounced. This sound is limited in its saturation, but still provides some nice subtle effects.

Live application: 3.5/5
The Phase 24 can provide a great subtle phase when used live. The settings are simple to change on the fly. The lack of effect clarity is a negative if you want more pronounced and intense phase.
