TC Electronic Alter Ego V2

This beautiful looking pedal will be familiar to some. It is built on the same skeleton as the Flashback, but with a different focus. HornFX Review

Interface:  4/5
The pedal is standardly laid out. The subdivisions switch has no text, which when considered with its size can make it difficult to see which mode is selected. Although there is no tap tempo, you can hold the foot-switch down, and play a few quarter notes to set the tempo.

Versatility: 3.5/5
Although this delay is identical in all other aspects to the Flashback, it differs in its range of use. Where the Flashback has a wide range of delay types, this pedal has many that are more focused in one lane.

Tonal Reproduction: 4/5
Your sound is safe with this pedal. It reproduces tone beautifully and manipulates tone nicely in its various delay types. All of its settings produce high quality, usable delays.

Complexity: Simple

Complexity: Simple

Live application: 4/5
With no presets other than TonePrint, it might be hard to take advantage of all this pedal has to offer live. However, its audio tap option and sheer volume of nice sounding delays make this pedal a great one to have on the board.
