Walrus Jupiter
Walrus Jupiter
The turbulent storms that fuel the fifth planet from the sun are a perfect metaphor for this pedal. Colorful, raucous, and beautiful, this pedal has a surprising clarity in the intense distortion it produces. For someone looking for a fuzz pedal with uncommon tonal clarity, look no further than the Jupiter.

Interface: 3.5/5
This fuzz pedal takes a lot of uncommon manipulability and puts it in a simple and completely sensible package. The bass and mode switches add a lot to the functionality of this pedal without being at all confusing.
Versatility: 3.5/5
There is truly more than expected with this pedal .The various modes and the bass switch add whole new dimensions of tones that are rarely seen in fuzz pedals. We wish it would handle the less saturated and more subtle settings better.
Tonal Reproduction: 3.5/5
While your tone won’t take a beating, there might be a punch or two thrown. This pedal will not present a pristine clear representation of your tone, but it will give you a warm and super fun fuzziness that you can be happy to add to your sound when necessary.
Live application: 4/5
Walrus has put together a fantastic pedal with this one. The tonal variability and the warmth of the fuzz itself would be a wonderful and easy to use addition to your board.
