Hotone Octa

Hotone Octa

$0.00

Hotone makes adorable little pedals that are the smallest on the market. The fact is, that when you pick up these little boxes and play with the buttons, quality does not come to mind. These are very inexpensive pedals, and their size and cost is surely an indication of their quality. There is not much positive to say about this pedal, but they really are cute.

Complexity: Simple

Interface:  3/5
Although the pedal is tiny, its controls are easy to manipulate and well organized. It is difficult to tell from a glance what level each knob is at.

Versatility: 1/5
Being that the tonal issues are so prominent, this pedal has limited uses and cannot accurately represent your tone at upper or lower octaves.

Tonal reproduction: 1/5
The only reason this did not get a zero is because there was still a perceivable note being produced at lower and higher octaves.

Tracking speed: 2/5
Tracking speed leaves much to be desired.

Live application: 1/5
The Octa’s sounds are suspect. The ability to use this live would be limited to using for strange, poorly articulated sounds.
