No one likes practicing long tones. It’s boring. However, we all know that it is a major necessity in our musical lives. Luckily there is a way to play long tones that is super fun and sounds incredible. With the Eterna Gold Modified, you can play a single note and listen to the sounds of of a beautifully voiced reverb tail that lasts for 60 seconds!! It won't help you get better, but it will sound pretty. This is a fantastic shimmer reverb pedal for those looking for that angelic sound. Although this pedal is not well suited for many situations, it will perform wonderfully when it is called upon.

This is an incredibly simple pedal. This is one of those wonderful stompboxes where reading the manual is not a necessity. Just plug it in and the pedal is virtually self explanatory.
Versatility: 1/5
The Eterna works beautifully but it really only does one thing. This is not a reverb pedal meant for someone who needs a do-it-all reverb box.
Quality of Effect: 4/5
This is a wonderful example of a shimmer reverb. You can manipulate the amount of shimmer, but no matter what amount of shimmer you have dialed in, this pedal sounds beautiful.
Live application: 2.5/5
If you are looking to have a shimmer reverb in your chain, and are not bothered by lack of versatility, then this is a perfect pedal. For anyone wanting more than a one-trick-pony, you will be happier if you look elsewhere.
