This page is meant to be used along with your copy of Pitch Manipulation Pedals. This page focuses on combining pitch-based effects pedals to create different four-note harmonies and inversions.
When exploring these clips, be sure to focus on the sounds of each voicing, the tonal qualities of the chord as a whole, and the overall effect and totality of the sound. This technique being illustrated is particularly useful for those with less complex harmonizers. However, even if you have a pedal that can create these voicings on their own, combining them with a second pedal can enable you to utilize more special capabilities of each pedal. For example: the Whammy’s ability to glissando can allow for slick and pleasing way to transition between voicing by sliding from one pitch to another rather than simply changing the note, but you can only do this with harmony if you have a second harmonizer or pitch shifter available to you.
