Suhr have created a sleek modern compressor that does just about everything right. The clear sound you get through it can be even further manipulated with the tone control switch. This compressor is meant to be able to do both the heavy compression of the Dynacomps of the world, and subtle compression that is hard to come by in the stomp box arena.

If nothing else pleases you about this pedal, you will love the mix knob. It is wonderful to be able to choose how much dry signal and how much compressed signal goes through. This can serve to really tailor your sound both tonally and dynamically. The indicator light is nice, as are the multiple voice modes for different tones.

This is a great live compressor. The ability to choose the amount of compressed signal with the mix knob, as well as the specificity with which you can manipulate tone makes it a worthwhile addition to your board.
